The remains of a SAC B-47 bomber that crashed at the 8,300 foot level of Emigrant Peak near Livingston, MT on the night of July 23, 1962. A piece of th aircraft is still embedded in a standing tree. The B47 was on a nighttime cold war training flight from Dyess Air Force base in Texas. Four airman lost their lives in the crash.
