Montana Democrat Rob Quist campaigning in Livingston, Montana for the House of Representatives seat vacated by newly appointed Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke in a special election that will take place on May 25, 2017. Quist, 69, is a popular singer and songwriter who performed with the Mission Mountain Wood Band. He still tours with a band Rob Quist and the Great Northern. He wrote and performs his own campaign song-"I Will Stand Up for You". Quist will be running against a well financed Republican Greg Gianforte who recently lost his run for governor of Montana. Quist sells a few CD of his music after a camaign stop in Livingston.
